Space Camp

Space Voyage is offering an exciting summer camp experience for young space enthusiasts in 2025. The program, designed for children ages 6 to 16, immerses participants in "thinking like an astronaut" through hands-on activities and cooperative learning. This summer, Space Voyage will host seven weeks of traditional Space Camp, each lasting five full days. Campers will engage in various space-related activities, including launching nine-foot-tall rockets daily. The program aims to bring math and science to life while building confidence and fostering a sense of belonging. With options for Pathfinders (ages 6-8), Cadets (ages 9-16), and Interns (age 14+), Space Voyage caters to different age groups and experience levels.

About Space Voyage

Space Voyage is a long standing STEAM program where students ages 6 to 16 are immersed in 'thinking like an Astronaut' or 'Craftsman' as they work hard (and then play hard!) in our programs. Dr. Palmere, the program founder, continues to find new technologies, new resources, and new edible lessons to keep the program as fresh and as fun today as it was in 1987. Our summer camp continues to allow our Cadets and Interns to gain the experience necessary to work on staff as a Certified Instructors and Camp Counselors.

At Space Voyage, your child will experience: The freedom to choose, The power to achieve, The feeling they belong, and FUN!

Business Review

Excellent camp. This was my son's third year at space voyage. I continue to be impressed with the leadership and mission of this organization. My son has made friends, strengthened work habits, developed new interests and gained confidence. I am so pleased to find a summer activity that provides fun and rigorous scientific instruction. My son is looking forward to the day when he has gained the skills and knowledge to become a space voyage camp instructor.

What a fun and educational camp! Our son thrived and had a blast at Space Voyage. The staff are highly focused and specialize in learning about Space! They are organized and have so many projects for kids to work on. Shooting rockets everyday and making new friends. We will for sure recommend and be back!

This was our families first session in space voyage camp. My children are age 7 and 9. From day one they were extremely enthusiastic and excited to go to camp. Doc and his flight director Sarah have been absolutely amazing. I feel great to know that my children are having fun AND learning! They enjoyed it so much that we will be signing up for another session this summer.
