National Banana Bread Day is February 23rd. Who doesn't love the smell of fresh warm banana bread on a chilly day? Or any day, really?

Well, you are in luck! Check out our Banana Bread Fake Out Cookies! Not only are they a super easy version of banana bread to share with your family, they are healthy, too. They smell just like banana bread coming out of the oven, PLUS they are sugar-free, gluten free, soy free, and dairy free. But taste-FULL!

Your kids can even make them all by themselves. I'd say that's a win-win.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 2 medium, ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup of uncooked minute oats
  • 1/4 cup cranberries, raisins, or walnuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla

WHAT YOU DO

  1. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Scoop rounds onto a greased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 14 minutes.
  4. Enjoy while hot and fresh!

Prep time 5 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.

PRO TIP

Add chocolate chips for an extra treat. Just remember that they might change the allergy ingredients of your cookies.
